I'm attaching photos of the custom installation I did on the ROPS of my JD1025R tractor. I wanted these work lights as high as possible to reduce the shadows ahead of my forward implements, like my blade or snow blower. I'm tall, but at the position shown in the photos there is no shadow from my head. I also wanted the lights inside the ROPS to prevent damage from tree limbs I occasionally tangle with. I spring loaded the mounting bolt on each light. The mounting bracket rests in the piece of c-channel that supports them, locking it in place. But because of the spring, I can pull the light down and turn it around if I need rear work lights (another photo). My backup lights can also be turned on constant to provide additional lighting to the rear. I can also have one light forward and one reversed, for great lighting in both directions if needed.
