Use relays for your high wattage HID and LED lights !

Using a relay and good wiring ensure your lights works great for a long time.

Did you know that HID lights sense the in-line power supply, and if too low, the light will not start ? Also  - constant running your HID and LED on "good enough" power, overheat the internal components, and will lead to early failure.

 

12 volt, 40 amp relay with socket included. (Socket wires only 16 gauge)

Standard 5 spade relay.

10" wire length.

Metal mounting bracket on relay

 

 

86 + (control / signal) blue

 

85 - ground  yellow

 

30 fused +  red

 

87 on with signal  white

 

87a on without signal  green
