LED Light kit for IH 986/1086/1486/1586 . Includes 6 Par-36 LED bulbs to replace the OEM halogen bulbs. Add 2 extra Par-36 flood or 2 complete LED-408 for the rear fenders if needed. Now using High Output PAR-36 LED lights. Note: It is a good practice to drill a few holes on top and bottom of the housing the light is mounted in, this will help the lights cool.

Larsen LED kit made to fit IH 986 / 1086 / 1486 / 1586 

 

LED Light kit for IH 1486. Includes 6 Par-36 LED bulbs to replace the OEM halogen bulbs. Add 2 extra Par-36 flood or 2 complete LED-408 for the rear fenders if needed. 

The Par-36 lights are the 4.5“ round lights that install into the existing housings, all you have to do is remove the old light, and install female spade connectors on the wires,(Included) then re-install the light. 

Please note that the Hi-Lo light is a 3 wire light if you only have 2 wires to the OEM light, (positive and negative) then the LED light will have to be wired on high beam, and the dimming effect will be limited.  

This kit will improve your lighting by 200-300%, and lower the electrical amp draw by 1/2!  For 12 volt only.

The standard Par-36 halogen is around 600-800 lumen, the HO LED PAR-36 is 1700 lumen each light.

Did this update 1 year ago and would definitely recommend to anyone else thinking about it to do the same. Very easy to do, relatively inexpensive, and greatly improves night time work. This is a no-brainer. I have a 2nd 1486 that will likely get the same treatment.

Great Lights, Cheap price

We just installed these on our 1086. We had our 1486, 686 and 706 already done but with a different company. These are the same factory replacements that we had gotten but these are way more affordable. I would suggest getting the rubber inserts also for the PAR36. I'm glad we did our originals were stiff and brittle. Fast shipping also!
